I am a licensed psychotherapist who lives and works in New York City. I completed my pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC), where I now hold a faculty appointment and am involved in direct clinical care and training.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brandeis University. I was the cellist in the Student Ensemble in Residence Program, and played on the Men’s Basketball team.
Before becoming a clinical psychologist, I taught middle school students and coached basketball. I have taught graduate seminars on Comparative Psychotherapies and Psychotherapy through Fiction and Film at Columbia University’s Teachers College.
In addition to practicing psychotherapy, I write and present to academic audiences. I have published my research and clinical illustrations of applied theory in peer reviewed academic journals.
